Hey there! I can't believe I've already wrapped up sharing our Hawaiian Holiday with you. I have to say I'm a little bit said to close that door. However, I am excited to share more about our trip to Las Vegas! We are heading back there in a couple of weeks, so I'm excited to relive somethings again and rehash some places we may want to visit there again. On our last trip there we stayed at the famous Bellagio. It was STUNNING, lavish, and oh so luxurious to say the least! We are turning things down a notch this time, but we still plan to take a peek back through the hotel while we are there. And of course, we will catch a fountain show!
Along with the Fountains of Bellagio, the conservatory and gardens were some of our favorite aspects of the hotel. I ALWAYS recommend a stroll through the gardens to everyone I know heading to Vegas. The conservatory is inside the hotel, through the foyer, but the courtyard before the main entrance to the hotel is equally as stunning! There are beautiful fountains, lush rose gardens, and stunning views of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas.
Once you are through the courtyard and enter the hotel, you are greeted with bright flowers and a bold, Chihuly Glass ceiling (which, sadly, I do not have a photo of--jotting that down for our next visit!), and lux Italian style stone work.
Straight through the lobby, the Bellagio Conservatory awaits you! The theme changes through the seasons and throughout the year, and I can only imagine what it would be like at Christmas. But let me tell you, this particular Spring we went, it is nothing short of incredible! There have to be millions of flowers, all grown by the resort, which is an amazing feat in and among itself, are carefully arranged in the form of animals and bugs and mini cityscapes--made of flowers & moss. I can't even put it into words. The entire conservatory, including a butterfly garden, rests under an enormous glass domed ceiling so as to let lots of natural light in. This spot itself is way bigger than I'd imagined and is a major tourist attraction! So be prepared for a bit of a crowd, but it is honestly worth it. Like I said, it's so hard to put this into words, so hopefully some photos will help paint the picture.
Is that not amazing!!? Not only are there a ton of flowers, but there are a ton of different flowers! They must have hundreds of people on staff just to care for the conservatory and gardens! I'm excited to go back there, and see the different theme. So, along with the gardens, is the even more famous Fountains of Bellagio. We caught the show several times, our favorite being at night. We watched from the water fountain in front of the hotel entrance (shown above), not from the street. That being said, we had GORGEOUS night views of the fountains AND Paris, which is stunning at night!
Isn't the view stunning!? If you are headed to Vegas, I highly recommend taking a walk through the Bellagio, including the Bellagio Conservatory--which is free!--and taking in a Bellagio Fountains show during the day and at night. Most of all, enjoy the lights and all the city has to offer--there is definitely something for everyone!
